Library Cards
The Otsego District Library serves the residents of Alamo Township, the City of Otsego, Otsego Township, Trowbridge Township and Watson Township.

Any resident of the Otsego District Public Library legal area may apply for a library card. A card will be issued, upon showing proof of residency in the legal service area. Anyone applying for a library card must show some form of identification, (preferably a photo ID) with his or her current address printed on it.

Children applying for a library card without a parent or guardian present must have that parent or guardian sign a permission slip, stating that a card may be given to that child. Permission slips are available at the circulation desk.
Your library card is free, however, a charge of $3 will be assigned to replace a lost card.

The Otsego District Library has reciprocal borrowing agreements with several libraries. Residents must first receive a card from their "home" library in order to receive a card from the Otsego District Library. The following libraries have reciprocal borrowing agreements with Otsego: Allegan, Hopkins, Kalamazoo, Martin (J.C. Wheeler Public Library), Plainwell (Ransom District Library), and the Van Buren County Library System.
