American Red Cross Blood Drive

Donate blood on Monday, August 19 from 12pm - 6pm in the large program room.
Did you know that someone needs blood in Michigan every 2 seconds? Stop by the library to help make a difference in someone else's life
by donating your blood to the
American Red Cross.
An urgent need remains for platelet donors, as well as donors with types O negative, B negative and A negative blood. Thank you to all who have responded to our emergency call for blood and platelet donors.
Blood Donors Must:
- Be healthy*
- Be at least 17 years old in most states, or 16 years old with parental consent if allowed by state law – see more information for 16-year old donors »
- Weigh at least 110 lbs.
