Exploring Internet Genealogy

This free, hands-on training will allow attendees to learn the basics of internet geneology databases and practice their researching skills in a lab-type setting. Each participant will be equipped with a laptop computer. Ancestry Library and HeritageQuest, the two genealogy databases offered freely to patrons at the Otsego District Library, will be highlighted. Some basic internet expierence is necessary for this session, and knowing how to use a keyboard and a mouse is necessary. Each Class is limited in size, and registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
